Open daily from 8.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
Entrance fee: 10,- US$
Bus: Leaves Alajuela at 9.15 a.m. Monday to Saturday from the TUASA bus station and Sundays from the central market. Return from park at 2.30 p.m. daily Ticket ca. 2,-US$, payable to the bus driver.
Barva Volcano - Braulio Carillo National Park
Open: Tuesday to Sunday 8.00 a.m. until 4 p.m.

This fascinating cloud forest offers a variety of beautiful walks to lagoons like Laguna Barva, Laguna Danta and Laguna Copey.
By 4x4 car you can get close to the park entrance. With a normal car you can drive up to Sacramento.
Bus: Bus from Alajuela to Heredia and from there by bus or taxi to Sacramento.
